José Manuel Pérez Ovejas, third generation of Viña Pedrosa, winemaker and technical director of Bodegas Hnos. Pérez Pascuas has been honored by Expansion newspaper as the best winemaker in Spain in 2017.  Years before, Alvaro Palacios, Miguel Gil Vera and Fernando Remírez de Ganuza  were also honored as the best winemakers in Spain. “It is a very special prize for me. I was born under a vineplant and I have worked very hard with my family at the winery all my life. I am very exigent with myself and  after 28 year working as winemaker at Viña Pedrosa, our wines are considered some of the greatest red wines in Spain” declared José Manuel Pérez Ovejas.
