BULLFIGTHER DAVID MORA AND BANDERILLERO JOSE MARÍA TEJERO SPEND A FANTASTIC DAY AT BODEGAS HNOS. PÉREZ PASCUAS.

IMG_3281 The bullfighter from Madrid, David Mora,  after a glorious performance in Burgos, travelled to Pedrosa de Duero, together his friend, José María Tejero, to visit Bodegas Hnos. Pérez Pascuas and enjoy the excellent wines made by this family winery.

Adolfo Pérez Herrero and Manuel Pérez Pascuas, showed the wine cellar to David Mora and Jose María Tejero, explaining winemaking and barrel ageing. At the end of the tour there was a wonderful winetasting, where Benjamín, Adolfo and Daniel describe Viña Pedrosa wines.

With the wine glasses on the table, they all were talking about the similarity between bulls and wine: Both are part of Spanish culture, bullfighter mastery and winemaker mastery are the result of many years of effort and sacrifice, both skills are pure art …

The most surprising wines for Mora and Tejero were Viña Pedrosa Crianza 2010 and Finca La Navilla 2009. “ I really like  Viña Pedrosa Crianza 2010, perfect balanced fruit-oak, excellent value for money” stated David. On the other hand, Jose María Tejero preferred Finca La Navilla 2009 “ It is an outstanding red wine, pure finesse, and incredible freshness”.

Every single member of Pérez Pascuas family thanked David Mora and Jose Maria Tejero for making space in their diaries to visit Viña Pedrosa.

“ It has been so nice to receive one of the best bullfighter and one of the best banderillero at the winery. They are greatest professionals, and apart from that they are great winelovers” said Adolfo Pérez.

Pérez Pascuas family wish all the best for David Mora and Jose Maria Tejero and open a bottle of Pérez Pascuas Gran Selección to celebrate coming successful performances.
